Notes on COVID-19 and My Little Collectible Business

First and foremost, I want to thank my family, friends and customers for their continued support over the last 4 years.  I ventured into this endeavor as an outlet to inject some fun and creativity into the otherwise routine 8-5 office life. PopOLoco.com has been, and continues to be a connection to those fandoms that I enjoy and love.

The "Office" routine has migrated to the home office as the day job is IT work for a health claims payer and services provider.  Transitioning the entire work force to a work from home model has kept our IT teams busy, but PopOLoco continues on! I know collectibles are not essential and my wife and I talked about what to do. PopOLoco operates as a small business, and as all small business, we have some overhead obligations to maintain plus inventory and related costs to cover.  So I continue to process orders from my home and schedule pickups or drop offs at the post office in order to continue keeping the lights on for PopOLoco.  Our friends at the post office continue to thank us as the postage we buy helps keep them working.  They assure us all shipments are treated with priority and will keep packages moving through this "new normal".

My commitment to PopOLoco, its fans and customers is this:

  • continue to handle all our orders with care.
  • continue to full-fill orders in as timely a manner as allowed by local regulation.
  • provide fast and responsive answers to questions and inquiries
  • "other duties as assigned" (That's my poor attempt at humor with the classic corporate statement to cover everything else that I can't think of right now and may come up later)

We hope you remain safe and well and appreciate you supporting our small business.  And please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks so much for all your support and be well!
